It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the AOHP PNW 2019 Symposium, on June 21st, Friday, in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon.
The theme, Caring for Healthcare Workers, embodies our passion and mission as Occupational Health Professionals in Healthcare. This one-day event will be jam-packed with timely and relevant talks and presentations, panel discussions, and a chance to network with professionals from all over the Pacific Northwest.
Summer is a great time to visit Portland. Enjoy the bright sunny skies and get the “City of Roses” experience as the International Rose Test Garden is in full bloom. Several festivals, outdoor markets, and street fairs are also happening this weekend.
Keeping up with this ever-changing field and building community with professionals who share the same passion is essential in fulfilling our role as advocates for a safe and healthy workforce. I hope this event will provide the avenue for just that. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet and welcome you all.
