Position Description

Overview
Our client in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Post Surgical Unit PSU. The ideal candidate will be able to apply the nursing process to patient care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and possess effective teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities
● Applies the nursing process to the care of patients
● Teaches patients and significant others
● Documents patient care in the medical record
● Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient

Schedule and Shift Details
● Night Shift // 12hr/36hrs/week // 80-hours per two-week pay period

Required Qualifications
• Associate degree or higher
• 1+ years of experience with Agile
• 1+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Physician Informatics
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) certification/license in Oregon (OR)
• Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS) certifications/licenses
• 3+ years of experience with Post Op
