Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit New

Overview
Our client in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Intermediate Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have recent acute care hospital experience and be able to effectively coordinate patient care within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
● Applies the nursing process to the care of patients
● Teaches patients and significant others
● Documents patient care in the medical record
● Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient

Schedule and Shift Details
● Day Shift or Night Shift // 12hr/36hrs/week // 80-hours per two-week pay period

Required Qualifications
• Associate degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience with Acute Care
• 1+ years of experience with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Long Term Acute Care (LTAC/LTACH)
• 3+ years of experience with Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Critical Care or Critical Care Unit (CCU)
• Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS) certifications/licenses
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) certification/license in Oregon (OR)
