Position Description

Registered Nurse - Dialysis (RN) - Full Time

We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dialysis care team in Roseburg, Oregon. In this role, you’ll provide life-sustaining care to patients living with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). You’ll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality dialysis treatments while building long-term relationships with patients and their families. Essential Functions

  • Deliver safe, effective dialysis treatments in accordance with all clinical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor patient condition before, during, and after treatment, and report concerns to the physician in a timely manner.
  • Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and manage emergencies as needed during dialysis.
  • Educate patients and families on ESRD, dialysis treatment plans, and home care support.
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA protocols to protect patient well-being and privacy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives (QAPI) and evaluate patient outcomes using monthly lab data.
  • Support efficient clinic operations, including inventory control and evaluation of medical supplies.
  • Foster a respectful, compassionate environment that prioritizes patient dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by mentoring new staff, participating in team meetings, and covering other clinics as needed.

Requirements

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Oregon (or ability to obtain).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications required.
  • Previous experience working as a professional nurse preferred.
  • Hemodialysis experience is a plus but not required.
  • Must meet all applicable state and licensing requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read and interpret safety protocols, operating procedures, and clinical documentation.
  • Comfortable interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a respectful and professional manner.
