On the road again...
Client marketing calls, product or production facility inspections, professional conferences - employees on the road again.
Immunizations, medications, safety, security – are all essential elements for a successful trip and safe return. What should Occupational Health Nurses and Safety Professionals know to prepare employees to travel? What health, safety and security risks do traveling employees face? What is the employer's responsibility and liability?
Travel is opening up following the shutdowns during the pandemic.
To address this timely topic, Oregon State Association of Occupational Health Nurses (OSAOHN) recruited experts Andrea Dayot, BSN, RN, CTH™and Paul Bollinger, MPH to speak at GOSH 2023.
Andrea holds a Certificate in Travel Health™ from the International Society of Travel Medicine. In addition to her role as Director of Occupational Health at Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland Oregon, Andrea is also the current PNW Regional Director for the Association of Occupational Health Professionals. She is joined by her colleague, Paul Bollinger.
