Oregon Celebrates 2024 Nurses Week May 6-12 With Governor's Proclamation

2024-Nurses-Week_Oregon Governor's Proclamation is a statement of support and acknowledgment of the value that nurses bring to the health of our Nation and Oregon.

On Monday evening May 6, the Oregon Convention Center in Portland will "light up the sky" in recognition of our profession. As occupational health nurses, our numbers are few. But we are part of the largest number of the most broadly prepared of the healthcare professions. 

At the end of April, OSAOHN presented a poster on Occupational Health Nursing at Oregon's first Nursing Practice Transitions Conference at PeaceHealth in Eugene. We are partnering with AOHP to develop topics and speakers for the Occupational Health and Healthcare Industry tracts for the 2025 GOSH.
