Lisa Rodriguez, RN, COHN, is the Caregiver Health Supervisor at St Charles Health Systems in Bend Oregon. She is also President of the Oregon State Association of Occupational Health Nurses (OSAOHN). Prior to again stepping into the presidency in mid-2024, she was selected by her Occupational Health Nurse peers to have demonstrated the highest quality of leadership in her activities in the association and in the specialty nursing practice of occupational health and safety.
Rodriguez has held every one of the elected chapter roles in her 30 years as a member. She has been instrumental in helping the chapter transition to the digital age. She has also mentored many new nurses to this specialty practice.
In addition to her unpaid work for the chapter, Rodriguez serves as a Total Worker Health Resource team member, is a member of the agriculture council, and is the liaison to the Oregon Coalition of Healthcare Ergonomics. Her background includes workplace health and safety program development, Total Worker Health®, Safe Patient Handling and Mobility, Federal & State regulatory compliance, emergency management, case management, and ergonomics.

The Oregon State Association of Occupational Health Nurses (OSAOHN) was established in 1974, OSAOHN is the only functioning occupational health nursing state association west of the Rockies outside of California. Occupational and Environmental Health is a specialty nursing practice. It is unique in its focus on the health of individuals and work populations in relation to their work and the impact of the work environment on their health, safety and well-being.
